About Us
Established in 1981, Levi H. Dickey Elementary School is one of three schools within the Chino Valley Unified School District that is located on the city of Ontario. Our campus was named in honor of Mr. Levi H. Dickey, a former CVUSD superintendent and community leader known for his leadership and establishing the District’s community recreation program during the area’s postwar growth.
Our outstanding staff happily supports students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. In addition to emphasizeing a “No Excuses Univerity” culture with a focus on universal achievement, collaboration, and standards alignment, Levi H. Dickey Elementary is proud to be named the first elementary school in the San Bernardino County to be recognized as an AVID Showcase School!

All students are equipped with Advancedment Via Individual Determination (AVID) academic strategies and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) social-emotional strategies to be lifelong learners and to smoothly transition into secondary education.

With nearly a decade invested in leading CVUSD students, Dr. Custodio understands and knows what it takes to help our Eagles soar! With a deep belief in the power of collaboration, Dr. Custodio works closely with teachers, families, and students to create a warm, positive environment where every child can THRIVE. Whether it's leading a school-wide spirit day, cheering on students at assemblies, or launching creative campus events, Dr. Custodio is passionate about making school a place where fun and learning go hand in hand—and where every student is inspired to reach their full potential!
