Levi H. Dickey Elementary

The California Pivotal Practice (CAPP) Award, part of the California School Recognition Program, recognizes schools for innovative practices during the 2020-21 school year, when distance learning was mandated due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It replaced the California DIstinguished Schools (DS) Program for that year. The CAPP program acknowledges schools that demonstrated exceptional innovation and overcame challenges in areas like student engagement, technology distribution, meal provision, and social-emotional support during distance learning.
